Our recent experience with Savory Kitchen has been one of the best. In terms of service delivery, food presentation and value for money, Savory Kitchen definitely made the mark. Although the buffet was catered for 25 pax, the portion was more than enough as we hosted for over 30 pax. Food wise, it was excellent. We highly recommend their Fire Chicken Drumlet (as opposed to the usual prawn paste chicken wings that are found in other caterers’ menu), the sayor lodeh and burbur cha cha were also excellent. So were the buttered fish with curry leaves, it was not oily or soggy. The best was the braised pork slice with buns. The meat was tender and lean!

As for customer service, they were quick to acknowledge our request to change venue (to a different address) without us incurring extra costs, and also acceded to our request for leaner pork (instead of using the fatty belly portion)! The delivery staff were very efficient and punctual. They were patient with us at the stated time of collection as we forgot to pack the balance food in time.

We will definitely recommend to our friends when they have special occasions that require food catering.

We ordered the black pepper chicken and fried beansprouts bento for our outing of 100 pax. Everyone enjoyed the yummy and (temperature) hot lunch and many volunteers asked who the caterer is.

Savory Kitchen’s Lunch box ensures that their food look appetizing and fresh. An additional plus points to them on last minute changes to our address even during public holidays. They ensure that their food arrives 30 minutes stipulated time. Highly recommended!

This is my first time ordering a Mini Buffet and Savory Kitchen gave me a very good experience. Ordering online makes the process real simple. Different mode of payment also help fasten the process. Received confirmation email really fast. Delivery was also earlier than expected. Deliveryman also help to set up the table nicely and most importantly, they are really friendly. Food wise, not bad, warm and nice.(depend on individual) . I will approach Savory Kitchen again if there is any other event. Worth it.

I engaged Savory kitchen for my dad’s house warming party on 24th Jan. As most of the guests are skilled elderly home cooks, I was worried if the food would not be to their liking. The team from savory kitchen was prompt and the set up was done before my event started. Unlike most caterers, the food from savory kitchen were surprisingly kept “piping hot”. The curry was also kept in a pot by itself, and that impressed my guests as most caterers would keep their curry with the rest of the food. Presentation of the food was appealing, and the fried items are honestly hot and crispy, it’s almost unbelievable. Most importantly, the portion size of all items are sufficient and in excess even though I catered for the minimum of 35pax. My guests enjoyed the food and they had a good time. I would strongly recommend savory kitchen and would definitely engage their services again.

We would like to provide feedback to your management and your kitchen team to continue the excellent work. My family is very pleased with your dinner services. Since last year, we have ordered tingkat dinner services from at least 5 different companies. I must say that Savory Kitchen is the best so far, in terms of the taste and variety of dishes, the food portion given is extremely generous. For example, I can see the efforts put in by your kitchen team to prepare the dishes, especially the vegetable dishes most of the time will come with extra garnishes placed on top of the vegetables. Savory Kitchen has also mix other ingredients to cook the meat dishes. Other catering companies will simply cook the vegetables or meat dishes as it is, that’s all. During our 10 days trial, I also noticed that the 4th dishes given is not the usual fishball/wanton/fried meat ball stuff which most of the other catering companies conveniently provided to their customers (almost daily) so as to lower their operating cost. Savory Kitchen has gone the extra mile to cook something out of the norm instead of providing these fishball/wanton/meat balls. Food catering is a very competitive industry, and for the price that we paid for, the dishes are very well value for money.
